This Privacy Policy explains how WayFlow ("WayFlow", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the WayFlow mobile application.

WayFlow is a puzzle game that can be used without creating an account or providing your name, email address, telephone number, password, or other direct personal information to us.

By using WayFlow, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

WayFlow is developed and operated as an independent mobile application.

2. Information We Collect and Process

The information associated with WayFlow falls into several categories. Some information is stored only on your device, while certain information may be processed by third-party services required to provide advertising, Game Center functionality, saved-game functionality, or related services.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

WayFlow stores certain gameplay and application settings locally on your device using Apple's device storage mechanisms. This may include:

  • Game progress;
  • Completed levels;
  • Scores;
  • Streak information;
  • In-game diamonds;
  • Energy;
  • Power-ups;
  • Daily reward timestamps;
  • Language preferences;
  • Theme preferences;
  • Sound settings;
  • Haptic feedback settings; and
  • Other gameplay or application settings necessary for the operation of the App.

This information is used to save your progress, maintain your game state, provide gameplay features, remember your preferences, and provide daily rewards and other game functionality.

These locally stored gameplay and settings data are not transmitted to a server operated by WayFlow.

4. Information We Do Not Directly Collect

WayFlow does not provide an account-registration system and does not directly require you to provide:

  • Your real name;
  • Your email address;
  • Your telephone number;
  • Your password;
  • Your postal address;
  • Your precise GPS location;
  • Your health or fitness information;
  • Your contacts;
  • Your photos;
  • Your camera content;
  • Your microphone recordings;
  • Your financial or payment information; or
  • Government identification information.

WayFlow does not operate a proprietary user-account database or backend account system. The email address used for privacy inquiries is used solely as a contact channel and does not create a WayFlow user account.

5. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

WayFlow uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements. Because advertising is provided through Google and its advertising services, information may be processed by Google and its service providers in connection with advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation.

Depending on your device settings, permissions, applicable law, and consent choices, information processed by the Google Mobile Ads SDK may include categories such as:

  • IP address;
  • Device or advertising identifiers;
  • Advertising information;
  • Information about advertisements displayed;
  • Advertisement interactions, such as impressions or interactions;
  • Certain application or product interaction information;
  • Crash or diagnostic information; and
  • Performance information.

WayFlow does not maintain this advertising information as part of a proprietary user-account database.

6. Personalized Advertising and Advertising Choices

WayFlow uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework where applicable. Where required, WayFlow may request permission to access the device's advertising identifier for advertising purposes.

If you deny ATT permission, WayFlow can continue to display advertisements. The availability and personalization of advertisements may differ depending on your permission status, applicable consent requirements, and Google's advertising systems.

WayFlow also uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage applicable privacy and consent requirements. Where applicable, you can review or change available advertising privacy choices through the privacy options provided within WayFlow.

7. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Other Privacy Choices

For users in jurisdictions where consent is required for certain advertising or data-processing activities, WayFlow uses Google's User Messaging Platform to present applicable privacy choices. Depending on your location and applicable legal requirements, you may be able to:

  • Consent to applicable advertising purposes;
  • Reject certain purposes;
  • Manage applicable privacy choices; or
  • Withdraw or change consent through available privacy options.

8. Apple Game Center

WayFlow uses Apple Game Center for game-related features including leaderboards and achievements. When you use Game Center features, Apple may process information associated with your Game Center account and gameplay activity, such as:

  • Game scores submitted to leaderboards;
  • Achievement information;
  • Game Center player information; and
  • Information necessary to provide Game Center functionality.

WayFlow does not operate the Game Center service and does not maintain a separate copy of your Game Center account database. For more information, please review:

9. Game Save and iCloud-Related Services

WayFlow uses Apple's GameKit saved-game functionality to support game-save synchronization where available. Saved-game information may be stored using Apple's Game Center/GameKit infrastructure and associated Apple account or iCloud-backed services. WayFlow does not operate its own cloud database for this information.

10. Network Requests

WayFlow may make limited network requests required for application functionality. For example, the App may make an anonymous network request to a public internet service to obtain or compare server time for certain daily-reward functionality. These requests are not designed to transmit your name, email address, account credentials, game profile, or other directly identifying information to a server operated by WayFlow.

11. Analytics and Crash Reporting

WayFlow does not use third-party analytics platforms such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, Amplitude, GameAnalytics, or RevenueCat. WayFlow does not operate a separate third-party user analytics database.

Apple may independently receive diagnostic or crash information according to the settings and services provided by Apple's operating systems and platforms.

12. Purchases and Payments

WayFlow currently does not offer subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid digital items, or other payment functionality inside the App. WayFlow therefore does not directly collect or store payment card numbers, bank account information, billing addresses, or other payment credentials. If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

13. Data Sharing and Third-Party Processing

WayFlow does not sell your personal information. We do not operate a proprietary advertising database or user-account database. Information may nevertheless be processed by third-party service providers when necessary to provide features used by the App.

Google: Google Mobile Ads may process advertising, device, diagnostic, performance, and interaction-related information as described in this Privacy Policy and Google's applicable documentation.

Apple: Apple may process information necessary to provide Game Center, GameKit saved-game functionality, App Store services, operating-system services, and related functionality.

14. Data Retention

Gameplay progress and settings stored locally on your device generally remain on the device until they are changed, reset, overwritten, or removed. You can generally remove locally stored WayFlow data by deleting the App from your device. Information associated with Game Center, Apple services, or Google advertising services is subject to their respective retention policies and controls.

15. Data Deletion

Because WayFlow does not operate a proprietary online user-account database, there is generally no WayFlow online account from which we can delete a user profile. You may remove locally stored WayFlow data by deleting the App from your device.

16. Children's Privacy

WayFlow is a general-audience puzzle game and is not specifically directed to children as a children's service. WayFlow does not knowingly request children to provide names, email addresses, telephone numbers, passwords, or other direct personal information.

17. International Data Processing

Third-party services used by WayFlow, including Google and Apple services, may process information on servers or in locations outside your country of residence. Such processing is governed by the applicable privacy policies, contractual safeguards, and legal requirements of the relevant service providers.

18. Security

We take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information involved to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Because WayFlow does not operate a proprietary online account database and much of the gameplay information is stored locally or handled by Apple or Google services, our direct collection of personal information is limited. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

19. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

20. Third-Party Services

WayFlow may rely on third-party services necessary for its functionality, including Apple Game Center, Apple GameKit, Apple operating-system and cloud-related services, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Your use of these services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when WayFlow's features, services, legal requirements, or data practices change. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
